Exploring a range of actions and different speeds, responding to the features of different dinosaurs.
Pupils will be taught a dinosaur dance and develop their own short movement sequences based on the theme. These sequences will be improved by the use of basic choreographic devices.
Linking with the NC Programme of Study for Science, Year 1 pupils will take the topic of ‘carnivores, herbivores and omnivores’ and create a dance based on Dinosaurs.
